Good news - you’re not the first person to wonder about tickets, accommodations, or traveling to St. Simon’s Island. Look through the FAQs to read what others ask, and contact us if you’re still scratching your head.

Tickets and Registration

  • Live, in-person registration is $189 per person + processing fees. Housing and meals are not included in your registration costs.

    Virtual registration is $119 + processing fee and includes registration for two people (on the honor system)

  • Both in-person and virtual registrants will have On-Demand access to the general session of the conference from January 27 - April 30, 2025, so that you can watch and rewatch your favorite sessions.

  • We encourage you to bring a group of registrants from your congregation or school; Southern Lights is happy to offer a special rate for groups of 10 or more people; please email our office at info@southernlightsconference.com for more information.

  • Unfortunately, there are no scholarships available at this time.

  • Unfortunately, no refunds are available. If you register for the live event and are unable to attend, you will still have access to "On-Demand" streaming of all the main events from January 27 through April 30, 2025. Or we can transfer your registration to our 2026 event.

    Please Note: No ticket changes or transfer are allowed after December 15th.

Transportation

  • If you are flying to the conference, St. Simons Island is almost equal distance from Jacksonville, Florida (Jacksonville International Airport - JAX) and Savanah, Georgia (Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport - SAV). Please note! You will have more flight and airline options if you fly into Jacksonville. Both airports are approximately one hour from the Epworth conference grounds and require you to ride share or rent a car to get to St. Simons Island.

  • There is also an airport in Brunswick, GA (BQK), which is serviced only by Delta Airlines. All flights route through Atlanta, GA. BQK is approximately a 30 minute from the Epworth Conference Center and has rental cars, taxis, and ride-sharing available.

    The airport on St. Simons Island (McKinnon Field - SSI) only handles private planes. There are no commercial flights to this airport.

  • Unfortunately not. All registrants are responsible for transportation to the conference grounds from any of the airports mentioned above. However, each location has ample taxi, car service, and ride-sharing options if you choose not to rent a car.

  • Yes! If you plan to drive to St. Simons Island, you can check the distance and driving time. Open in Google Maps ⟶

    Free parking is available on the Conference grounds.

Lodging & Housing

  • Currently all housing at Epworth is sold out.

    BUT PLEASE DON’T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM JOINING THE CONFERENCE IN PERSON.

    There are multiple moderately priced hotels on the island along with a great assortment of Air BnB’s. And you can still purchase a meal plan and join the rest of the registrants for your meals!

  • Yes! You will need the Eventbrite order number you receive via email when you register to secure your Epworth.

  • There are numerous housing options on the island. The three closest to Epworth’s Conference Center are:

    Home2 Suites by Hilton, Best Western Plus, and Holiday Inn Express. These and the other fine hotels on the island can be booked directly, through Trivago, or one of your favorite booking apps. Additionally, Airbnb offers an array of housing options on St. Simons Island.

    PLEASE NOTE - You will need a car, taxi or rideshare for transportation to and from the Conference site if you stay off the grounds.

Meals & Dining

  • Meals and housing are not included in your registration cost.

    If you have secured your housing separately through Epworth, your housing cost includes your meals. Your meal package begins at Dinner on Friday (1/12) and ends with lunch on Sunday (1/14).

    If you stay somewhere other than the Epworth Conference Center, meals are not provided.

  • Yes! You can purchase a meal package that includes Friday night supper, Saturday lunch and supper, and Sunday lunch at Epworth. Please note - The meal package includes all of the meals mentioned above and cannot be customized.
