Belinda Lennon

Throughout her career as an early childhood special educator, Belinda Lennon relied on her yoga practice to remain tuned-in and grounded. In 2005, she sought out yoga teacher training to share what she had learned and support others in their self-care journeys.

Her training includes an initial 200-hour yoga program with Kripalu Yoga Center and a 500-hour therapeutic yoga program with Subtle Yoga, leading to RYT500 status. She has also attended workshops from many traditions, including Yoga Ed, a program that brings yoga to children in schools.

She has led yoga classes in a variety of settings, including yoga studios, community centers, gyms, parks, backyards, retreat centers, and school classrooms. She currently teaches yoga at the YMCA in Spruce Pine, NC, where she and her husband retired. They enjoy living and being outside in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and recently completed their dream home.

She enjoys working with new and more experienced students and has been told that all feel welcome in her slow, mindful yoga classes. She intends to offer conference attendees an opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with their own inner oasis of calm.
